The Harley-Davidson Men’s Ventilator Switchback Lite Riding Jacket 97100-24VM is a lightweight, ventilation-focused motorcycle jacket designed for riders who want airflow, mobility, visibility, and adaptable protection. Finished in Black Beauty, this Harley Davidson Ventilator Riding Jacket combines durable nylon ripstop construction with strategically positioned mesh ventilation panels and practical riding features.

The Harley Davidson Ventilator Riding Jacket is part of Harley-Davidson’s Limited Edition Ventilator Switchback Lite range and was designed to improve airflow while maintaining a durable riding-focused construction. Its zip-and-stash panels on the front, back, and sides can reveal mesh sections to maximize ventilation when conditions become warm.

Lightweight and Durable Construction

The upper body is made from 100% nylon ripstop, while the middle and lower sections use 100% polyester canvas. A polyester mesh lining helps provide comfort and supports the Harley Davidson Ventilator Riding Jacket’s ventilation-focused design.

The combination of ripstop and canvas gives the Harley Davidson Ventilator Riding Jacket a balance of lightweight performance and durability, making it particularly suitable for warm-weather motorcycle riding.

Advanced Ventilation System

The standout feature of this Men Lite Riding Jacket is its ventilation system. Zip-and-stash panels on the front, back, and sides open to reveal mesh areas, allowing air to move through the Ventilator Riding Jacket while riding.

This design gives riders the ability to adjust airflow according to changing temperatures. When additional coverage is preferred, the panels can be closed and stored securely.

Comfortable Riding Mobility

The Ventilator Switchback Lite incorporates an action back and pre-curved sleeves, helping provide freedom of movement when riding.

The action-back construction is particularly useful when your arms are extended toward the handlebars, while the pre-curved sleeves help maintain a more natural riding position.

An airprene collar and throat guard provide additional comfort around the neck, while the snap-tab collar adds a secure finishing detail.

D3O Armor Compatibility

The Harley Davidson Ventilator Riding Jacket includes dedicated pockets for D3O Ghost shoulder and elbow armor, while a separate back pocket is designed for D3O Viper back body armor. The compatible armor pieces are sold separately.

This armor-ready construction allows riders to configure the Harley Davidson Ventilator Riding Jacket according to their preferred protective setup while retaining the lightweight and ventilated character of the garment.

Reflective Details for Visibility

The jacket incorporates 3M Scotchlite Reflective Material, including reflective piping and graphics. Reflective elements are particularly useful for riders who regularly travel during lower-light conditions.

Reflective graphics are integrated into the jacket without taking away from its predominantly black appearance.

Two-Way Zipper and Secure Cuffs

The front uses a two-way zipper, providing flexible adjustment while riding. The jacket also features zippered cuffs, allowing the sleeve openings to be adjusted and making it easier to pair the jacket with motorcycle gloves.

These details help make the jacket practical for both short commutes and longer rides.

Practical Storage

The Ventilator Switchback Lite provides zippered hand-warmer pockets for secure storage and everyday convenience. Inside, there is an interior stash pocket and an additional interior zipper pocket for smaller essentials.

The updated pocket placement is part of Harley-Davidson’s revised design for this version of the Switchback Lite jacket.

Harley-Davidson Black Riding Style

The Black Beauty finish gives this Men Lite Riding Jacket a clean, understated appearance while allowing the reflective graphics and Harley-Davidson branding to stand out.

Men Lite Riding Jacket lightweight profile makes it especially attractive to riders who prefer a ventilated textile jacket rather than a heavier leather motorcycle jacket during warmer riding conditions.
